office or social work experienceAbility to follow office procedures

RESPONSIBILITIES:Office ResponsibilitiesPerform typing and
transcription duties to support the staffMaintain files and records
for all contributorsIssue receipts, acknowledgements, and prepares
correspondence to donorsMake copies, printing and letters or
documentsRecords and deposits funds received for Corps, donations,
special program, fund raisers, and activities - prepare appropriate
reportsAssists the Corp Officer and staff with preparations and
arrangements for special eventsAssists the Corp Officer and staff
in preparing proposals, reports, data, and research papersRelates
to Corp members, donors, and staff in regard to requests for
information and assistanceComplete Stats for Social Services and
CorpsComplete Social Service and Corps inventory of office supplies
and buy/order any necessary suppliesAssist Corps Officer(s) with
Corps program(s) preparation and advertisingAssist with all other
duties needed by Officer(s) at the CorpsAssist in all seasonal
programs at the Corps and Social Services. (set up, tear down,
storage, pick up)Assist in reception as neededInputs data for
payroll, mileage, gifts in kind and any other work paperwork to be
completed in a timely mannerProgramming for Temple Sunday
school:Order Sunday school lessonsMonthly attendance listSocial
Service Responsibilities:Give assistance in Social Services at
Tri-Cities, WA locationsAssist with the Food and Clothing
BankAssist in verifying client eligibility as they sign in.
Translate when necessaryNever refuse to let a client talk to a
caseworkerProvide direct assistance to clients for food, clothing,
and misc. household itemsAssist with Food Drives when neededAssist
with the pre-screening of rental and utility assistancePre-screen
emergency shelter clientsProvide direct assistance to clients for
shelter, rental assistance, transportation, and other emergency
needs subject to budgetary and program limitationsAssist with the
Christmas SeasonOccasional long-distance driving and seasonal
program supportGive assistance in any other areas of need, when
instructed by the Corps Officer and/or AdministratorBe responsive
to donors at the front windowAssist with unloading packages. (Food,
clothing, etc.). Give receipts when necessarySupport in the absence
of Social Service Director responsibilities when is out of the

squat, climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or continuous

lift up to 25 lbs. (usually file boxesAbility to access and produce

option.Parental Leave: The benefit is 40 hours of Paid Leave for
qualifying events.Sick Leave: 12 days of Sick Leave annually
accruing from day one, eligible for use after three months' service
time.Paid Vacation:Two weeks annually, accruing from day one, for
non-exempt positions.Four weeks annually, accruing from day one,
for exempt positions.Accrued vacation is eligible for use after six
months' service time.Paid Holidays: 13 designated holidays + 1
floating holiday per yearQualified individuals must be able to
