LifePoint Health has an opportunity for a Market CEO. The Market CEO will have oversight of Lourdes Health (Pasco, WA), and Trios Health (Kennewick, WA).Lourdes Health and Trios Health serves the growing, beautiful Tri-Cities community of Pasco, Kennewick and Richland with a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services. Originally conceived in 1916, today Lourdes Health encompasses a number of facilities and physician practices in the Mid-Columbia area, including a critical access, acute care hospital with an award-winning Joint and Spine Center, a medical plaza, the Lourdes Occupational Health Center, the Lourdes Health and Wellness Center and the Lourdes Counseling Center. The Counseling Center is the largest and only inpatient and outpatient behavioral health service provider in southeastern Washington, and includes a 22-bed licensed psychiatric hospital and a 16-bed certified crisis triage facility.Trios Health- with 111 licensed beds, and a network of outpatient specialty practices and services, including a Level I Cardiac Center, a Level II Stroke Center, six neighborhood-access Care Centers and an Urgent Care Center. Its Trios Family Birthing Center performs among the top two percent of comparable birthing centers in the U.S. In March of 2022 an all new OB service will be opening at the Southridge campus.
The Market Chief Executive Officer creates strategic direction for the market, while providing operational oversight and insight ensuring business objectives are met.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: To perform this job, an individual must perform each essential function satisfactorily with or without a reasonable accommodation.Hold hospital leadership accountable and ensure market and hospitals have the right talent to achieve objectives.Execute on LifePoint's quality initiatives, service line development and implementations while capitalizing on market synergies related to strategic and operational opportunities.Coordinate and drive implementation of company initiatives, representing LifePoint in the marketplace.Coordinate the activities of senior executives to develop short and long-range objectives, policies, and procedures.Ensure policies are uniformly understood and consistently interpreted and administered.Establish the organization hierarchy and delegate limits of authority to subordinates' executives.Prescribe the specific limitations of the authority of subordinates regarding policies, contractual commitments, expenditures and personal actions.Review and approve all financial reports, budgets, Managed Care contracts and major expenditures.Direct, establish, review, and adjust charges for services provided internally and externally that financially impact operations.Maintain accreditation and licensure standards of The Joint Commission (TJC) on accreditation of hospital organizations, Medicare, Medicaid, state licensure, regulatory agencies, and similar organizations.Analyze operating results of the Company and its principal components relative to established objectives and ensure appropriate steps are taken to correct unsatisfactory conditions.Regular and reliable attendance.Perform other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:Manage the work of others, including planning, assigning, scheduling and reviewing work, ensures quality standards. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or abilities required.Education: Master's Degree in Hospital Administration (MHA), Business Administration (MBA), Management or related field is required.Experience: Minimum 15 broad range of experience in hospital operations.Certifications: N/ALicenses: N/ASkills and Abilities:Business Mathematical Skills - Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages and to draw and interpret graphs.Advanced Computer Skills - Routine use of electronic mail and computer systems. Ability to incorporate complex and complicated functions into documents, spreadsheets, databases, and presentations to support business objectives.Organizational Communication - Handles broad-based complex information across departments with company-wide impact. Presents to diverse audiences, and can negotiate, motivate and persuade others.Organizational Business Problems - Problems are broad, complex and abstract, often involving company-wide issues. Must develop solutions using substantial creativity, resourcefulness, innovation, negotiation and diplomacy.Organizational Specific - Decisions have significant, broad implications for the management and operations of a division. Job contributes to decisions on the overall strategy and direction of LifePoint.Organizational Independent Judgement - Sets direction and vision for major departments or multiple departments.
