Job Overview: The Associate Project Manager (APM) shall work collectively with all workplace consultants, project manager, sales coordination, design, accounting, installation, subcontractors, and warehouse personnel to ensure complete and accurate information and total customer satisfaction. The APM is responsible for maintaining positive and productive relationships with all departments, customers, suppliers, vendors, and contractors.

The APM shall successfully achieve quality, cost, and schedule parameters of all assigned projects while providing accurate and timely communication to all participants.


  • Represents OpenSquare and associated brands in all Project Management activities to the client and shared services
  • Assist with setup and execution of projects, working with clients, various departments and other Project Managers to accomplish all tasks assigned and requested
  • Effectively deal with ambiguity, multi-task with constant prioritization, and work backward from client's needs and expectations, to deliver timely projects
  • Create and maintain project job site packets including forecasting, schedules, plans, tracking, approvals, sign-offs, and close-out
  • Implements and maintains all project-related documents
  • Serve as a point of contact and coordinate with clients and third-party firms
  • Prepare for and attend all necessary meetings, touch bases, and installation site visits
  • Read and interpret the design, installation, and construction documents including conducting pre-project measurements, verification, and execution of the final walk-through
  • Perform specification audits, track and document all manufactures shortages/overages/damages, taking necessary steps to meet deadlines/milestones
  • Utilize MS Project and other software to schedule, track, execute and deliver a smooth project


    • 2-3 years related experience and/or training in Project Management or Team Leadership in Construction, Technology, Architecture, or Furniture or experience in Healthcare Facilities Management or Education Facilities Management
    • Excellent ability to communicate written, verbally, and conduct presentations with all levels of stakeholders and team members
    • Highly organized, detail oriented, customer-oriented, and self-motivated
    • Able to manage multiple, contending priorities in a deadline directed environment, adjusting quickly to changing priorities, and the ability to learn quickly
    • Proficient in MS Office (Project, Excel, Outlook, Word, SharePoint, and PowerPoint)
