What are we looking for in a Project Director?
The Project Director is responsible for carrying out the requirements of our newest project, a grant for the Enhancement & Expansion of Treatment & Recovery Services for Adolescents, Transitional Aged Youth, and their Families-better known as Youth and Family Tree. This grant allows us to serve teens and young adults aged 12-15 years old who have substance use disorders or co-occurring substance use and mental health concerns. Our focus will be on improving and expanding early intervention, comprehensive treatment, and recovery support services for youth and their families or primary caregivers in Walla Walla, Benton, and Franklin Counties. The Project Director will develop interagency agreements to implement and grow the grant's programs, ensure services are provided within required timelines, and collect and report data to state and federal agencies. To be successful in this role, the Project Director should be highly motivated with exceptional interpersonal skills and have a talent for leading and motivating others. Since the coverage area for this project includes three counties, the Project Director may choose to work primarily in either our Pasco or Walla Walla offices but can expect to travel frequently between these campuses in order to provide services and supervise staff.

  • promoting culturally competent and accessible services for all clients, and developing & implementing plans to improve these factors when indicated
  • representing Comprehensive Healthcare in the community
  • participating in strategic planning initiatives
  • maintaining the budget to ensure fair & effective resource management

    Qualifications:

    • Four years of relevant experience, with prior supervisory experience preferred
    • Broad programming abilities for diverse clinical populations
    • Demonstrated organizational, communication, and presentation skills
    • Driver's license, vehicle liability insurance, and a minimum of two years of safe driving experience
    • Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and provide documentation upon hire or be approved for a qualifying medical or religious exemption prior to starting work
