Manager Emergency Services RN at Providence St. Mary Medical Center
The Manager assists the Director of Emergency Services with the
planning, implementation, and monitoring of patient care services
for the Emergency Department at Providence St. Mary Medical Center.
The manager provides clinical oversight and support of assigned
areas including quality improvement and quality assurance
monitoring, provides clinical staff education and staff competency
monitoring, supervises staff orientation as developed by the
Director, provides follow up with Datix - adverse event monitoring
tool, anticipates department staffing needs on a daily basis, edits
payroll, regularly performs customer service rounds, and other
operational activities as delegated. Providence caregivers are not

qualifications:
- Associate degree Nursing from an accredited nursing
program
- Bachelor's Degree Nursing, from an accredited educational
institute, or in process and completed within 3 years of hire into
position.
- Upon hire: Washington Registered Nurse License
- Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart
Association
- 3 years' Experience in emergency, trauma, or critical care
nursing Preferred qualifications:
- Master's Degree Nursing, Health Care Administration or
Business
- Upon hire: ACLS, PALS (must be AHA accredited)
- Upon hire: TNCC Instructor status, or ability to achieve.
- 2 years' Experience in a supervisory or charge nurse capacity
