Description:Under the direction of the Director of Quality/Case Management /IT, the Clinical Informatics Specialist provides improvement to the overall health of the communities we serve by developing and facilitating effective clinical system training programs, process improvement initiatives and optimization of the electronic health record in support of patient care functions.Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Requirements:Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing or other relevant field required. Relevant equivalent experience may substitute for degree.Experience: At least 3 years' experience in providing training to adult learners required. Experience in training healthcare providers preferred. Experience with electronic health records and clinical documentation highly preferred.License/Certification: Educator Certificate, Educator License, Clinical Certificate or Registered Nurse License preferred. Current driver's license and auto insurance required.Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Very strong communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills. Computer literate and able to review and analyze data in electronic format. Comfortable providing application training to small and large groups. Knowledge of adult learning principles and training methodologies. Ability to work collaboratively with all staffing levels. Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
