Job Description:

A registered nurse performs and coordinates total nursing care for patients, participates in patient and family teaching and provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing staff and other patient care personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice. - A critical attribute required of this position is exceptional interpersonal customer services consisting of an outgoing positive attitude, warm friendly joyful demeanor, and the utmost care and reverence for our guests, patients, families, customers and colleagues.EDUCATION & JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• BSN preferred
• Knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the population serviced in the ICU
• Previous education and experience in critical care nursing or a desire and willingness to learn and participate in related course work to develop intensive care nursing abilities
• Current Registered Nurse License in Washington State required
• Current AHA -BLS required
• ACLS Certification within six (6) months of hire date required
• TNCC or four (4) hours of approved trauma education preferred
• Critical Care or Medical/Surgical Nursing Certification preferred
• Bilingual and/or English-Spanish speaking abilities preferred
