Staff Nurse: A Registered Nurse performs and coordinates total nursing care for patients, participates in patient and family teaching and provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing staff and other patient care personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice. A critical attribute required of this position is exceptional interpersonal customer services consisting of an outgoing positive attitude, warm friendly joyful demeanor, and the utmost care and respect for our guests, patients, families, customers and colleagues. A staff nurse who has been assigned by the nurse Director or House Supervisor to provide coordination, delegation, direction and supervision of direct patient care activities and to serve as a clinical resource. EDUCATION # Education: BSN Preferred. # Population Specific Knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the population of patients served in Ambulatory, Observation, and the GI Lab. # Experience: Two (2) years current experience in Ambulatory/GI preferred. # Bilingual and/or English-Spanish speaking preferred. This is a Union position.
