Atlas Staffing has an opening for a QC Lab Assistant to work with a manufacturing plant for coatings, cleaners, sanitizers, fungicides, for business in Yakima, WALab Assistant Responsibilities:Monitor chemical residues on different commodities and perform chemical analysis of field samples.Receive samplesLog samplesPrep samples for analysisAssist preparation of daily field sample analysis reportAssist to maintain day to day laboratory tasksPerform tasks assigned by analytical chemist and Lab Assistant 1Record information accuratelyWeigh samples accuratelyPerform calculations accuratelyWork in lab environmentQUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE REQUIREDHigh school diplomaGood math skillGood interpersonal skillsExcellent computer knowledgeShift: Monday-Sunday9:00am-3:00pm.During the harvest season the jobholder will spend extended evening hours including weekends to process samples and assist generate analytical reports.Wages: $17.00/hrWhy Choose Atlas Staffing?Atlas Staffing is an employment agency that serves Spokane and its surrounding areas.
