medical-surgical License: Nursing degree from an accredited school
Certifications: BLS certification required Must-Have: 2 years of
med-surg nursing experience Description: Located in southeastern
Washington. Serves a community with a population of approximately
250,000. Offers a range of services including emergency department,
family medicine, orthopedics, OB-GYN, internal medicine,
pediatrics, urgent care, laboratory, and diagnostic imaging.
Operates as a teaching hospital. Features a beautiful recreational
landscape with parks and golf courses. Situated in a region known
for its wineries. Is accessible from major urban areas and
airports. The medical-surgical unit consists of 30 medical and 18
surgical beds. Patient ratios are 1:5 on days and 1:6 on nights.
Utilizes an electronic health record system. The patient population
primarily includes adults and geriatrics. The work environment is
team-oriented. Dress code includes scrubs; specific color
requirements are not enforced. Unacceptable attire includes hoodies
and similar casual wear.
