Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Occupational Therapist Discipline: Therapy Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel \n Job Description\n American Traveler is seeking a Home Health Occupational Therapist with at least one year of recent skilled home health experience and a valid WA or compact license. \n \n Responsibilities\n Home health setting serving a primarily geriatric population Day shift schedule: 5x8 hours, 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM Typical caseload is 4-6 patients per day based on territory and productivity standards Visits grouped to minimize drive and travel time, though occasional maximum radius is up to 100 miles No weekend or on-call requirements Travelers must have their own reliable transportation Utilizes documentation tools provided by the agency Proficiency in HCHB (Homecare Homebase) is preferred Timely communication and thorough documentation of patient care are essential responsibilities Travelers are expected to return all provided documentation tools at end of assignment First-time travelers are welcome to apply Locals are accepted Travel pairs can be accepted but each traveler will have their own territory and must have their own transportation Must submit all requested time off with initial application Former perm employees are eligible after a 6-month separation and HR approval \n \n Requirements\n Current WA or compact OT license required if applicable Minimum 1 year recent skilled OT home health experience within the past 3 years Inpatient experience is not accepted Current BCLS certification required OASIS experience required if completing Start of Care visits Active driver’s license and personal transportation required \n Benefits\n High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts \n American Traveler Job ID P-589650.
