Echocardiograph Technologist at Providence Health and Services
summary: The Echocardiograph Technologist performs diagnostic
echocardiograms under general supervision to assess heart function
and assist cardiologists in patient care. The role requires
accredited training, certification in diagnostic cardiac
sonography, and experience with ultrasound and cardiovascular
procedures. The position offers full-time day shifts with

general supervision of the Supervisor & Manager, Diagnostic Imaging
and according to established policies and procedures, performs
echocardiograms to produce diagnostic data assessing heart function
and capability to be used by the cardiologist to enhance the care
and treatment of the patient. In doing so, obtains pertinent
patient information and explains the purpose and duration of
testing to the patients. Reviews image data as well as calculation
measurements for interpreting provider. Provides other diagnostic
testing defined by scope of practice. Providence caregivers are not

Full-time, 40 hours weekly, Day shift. Required Qualifications:
Coursework/Training: Successful completion of an accredited
academic program in Echocardiography or equivalent educ/experience
Upon hire: National Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer from
American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography, or Upon hire:
National Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing
International Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart
Association 2 years Ultrasound/Cardiovascular experience Preferred
