Physical Therapy Assistant at Providence Health and Services summary: The Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) works under the supervision of licensed therapists to help patients recover movement and manage pain after injury, illness, or surgery. The role involves collaboration with a multidisciplinary team including clinicians, nurses, and physicians to provide comprehensive patient care. Required qualifications include a Washington PTA license and BLS certification, with preference for recent clinical experience. Description Under the supervision of a licensed therapist, the PTA (Physical Therapist Assistant) Clinician assists patients who are recovering from injuries, illness, and surgeries regain movement and manage pain. The PTA Clinician will work collaboratively with a team that includes other clinicians across disciplines, rehab nurses, and physicians to create the best possible outcome for our patients.
