Medical Assistant - Walla Walla - Multiple Clinics at Providence
Health and Services summary: The Medical Assistant position
supports licensed practitioners by performing both clinical and
administrative tasks such as patient preparation, taking vital
signs, and maintaining medical records. This role requires
certification, clinical training, and experience with electronic
health records, alongside strong customer service skills.

will support the delivery of cost-effective, clinically competent,

Compassion. Medical Assistants work under the delegation of a
licensed practitioner to perform duties as directed and assist in
providing basic patient care to assigned patients. This role is
responsible for administrative and clinical tasks, such as
maintaining patient records, preparing patients and rooms for
examination, and assisting physicians with exams. Medical
Assistants are expected to perform in accordance with established

positions are located at various clinics across the Walla Walla
Area . We will discuss current open positions and your preferences
during the interview. The job utilizes a combination of skills
including: Clerical computer and phone skills Customer
service/people skills Medical terminology Hands on clinical skills
Typical job skills include: Taking vital signs like pulse and blood
pressure Updating medications, allergies and other information in
patient’s medical records Performing some medical procedures,
specimen collection and lab testing This is a combined posting for
Associate Medical Assistant, Medical Assistant Registered and
Medical Assistant. The requirements of each role are listed below
under each associated title. Consideration for each role will be

Required qualifications: Coursework/Training and Graduate of an
accredited school that includes hands on training in a clinical
setting for medical assistants Or Coursework/Training and Graduate
of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program Or
Coursework/Training and Has completed two years of medical training
in the United States Armed Forces Or Coursework/Training and
Minimum one year of work experience as a medical assistant that
includes the following clinical skills: obtaining vital signs,
administering injections, and medication administration Or Upon
hire: Washington Medical Assistant Certification Within 30 days of
hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association Medical
assisting experience in a clinic setting (0-6 months) Preferred
qualifications: 6 months of prior experience providing a high level
of customer service in a fast paced environment. 6 months of
previous experience in a healthcare setting working with an
Electronic Health record (EHR). Associate Medical Assistant Salary
Range, SE Washington: Min: $19.00, Max: $28.47 Medical Assistant
Certified Required qualifications: Coursework/Training and Graduate
