Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant at Providence Health
and Services summary: A Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
(COTA) works under the supervision of licensed clinicians to help
patients improve their ability to perform work and daily activities
affected by injury, illness, or disability. The role involves
collaboration with a multidisciplinary clinical team to deliver
acute care in surgical, medical, intensive care, and inpatient
rehab settings. Employed in a healthcare organization committed to

rehabilitation and well-being of vulnerable populations.
Description Under the supervision of a licensed clinician, the COTA
(Occupational Therapist Assistant) will treat patients who have
difficulty performing work and daily living activities due to
injuries, illness, and disabilities. The OTA will work
collaboratively with a team that includes other clinicians across
disciplines, nurses, and providers to create the best possible
outcome for our patients. This role works in acute care with
patients from surgical, medical, intensive care and inpatient

meet certification, license or registration requirement. Washington
Occupational Therapy Assistant License upon hire. National Provider
BLS - American Heart Association upon hire. Preferred
Qualifications: Certified with AOTA upon hire. Recent applicable
