Associate Laboratory Assistant - Clinical Laboratory at

Assistant supports clinical laboratory operations by processing
specimens, performing phlebotomy, and assisting in pre-analytical
testing phases while ensuring compliance with safety and infection
control standards. This role requires formal phlebotomy training
and certification, with an emphasis on client services and
laboratory accreditation adherence. The position is part of

Assistant is responsible for completing and maintaining competency
in specimen processing and packing, phlebotomy, and client
services. Assists in the pre-analytical phase of select testing.
Upholds laboratory compliance and accreditation through adherence
to established departmental policies and procedures, safety
standards, and infection control standards. Performs other duties

Coursework/Training: Completion of a formal Phlebotomy Training
Program. Upon hire: Washington Medical Assistant Phlebotomist
Certification. Preferred Qualifications: Previous phlebotomy

position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range
for this position will be determined based upon relevant job
