The Pharmacist Resident position at Kadlec Regional Medical Center
is a one-year post-graduate residency program designed to advance
pharmacy practice skills in a hospital setting. It emphasizes
developing clinical skills, pharmaceutical knowledge, and
professionalism under the guidance of the American Society of
Health-Systems Pharmacists (ASHP) standards. Candidates must have
pharmacy education credentials, appropriate licensure, and may gain
experience in hospital pharmacy practice during the residency.
Description Pharmacist Resident at Kadlec Regional Medical Center
The Pharmacy Practice Residency is a one-year post-graduate
residency program in an institutional practice setting that
provides training as set forth and approved by the American Society
of Health-Systems Pharmacists (ASHP). The program will provide the
opportunity to advance the resident's pharmacy practice beyond
entry-level professional competence and develop the skills,
knowledge, and attitude necessary for the provision of high-quality

40 working hours weekly Required qualifications: Graduated from an
Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) accredited
college of pharmacy. Upon hire: Washington Pharmacist License. Or
Upon hire: Washington Pharmacist Intern Registration. Within one
hundred and twenty (120) days of hire, or as outlined by program
policies, whichever is sooner: Washington Pharmacist License.
Preferred qualifications: PharmD Experience in hospital pharmacy
practices as a student, intern, or pharmacist. Demonstrated
computer literacy. Demonstrated drug knowledge, IV knowledge, and

for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage
range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job
experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base
pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role,
such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums,
