Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00); Day
3x12-Hour (12:00 - 00:00) Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience:
Minimum of 2 years required License: Valid RN license required
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC Must-Have: Mixed
pediatrics/adult emergency department experience. Previous charge
experience preferred. Experience with the Epic charting system
required. Description: EPIC experience preferred; first-time
travelers are welcome. Position will not float between units. No
on-call shifts are required. Rotating weekends are required.
Patient ratios are expected to be 1:5. The shifts will start at
either 12:00 or 19:00 based on unit needs. This facility is a Short
Term Acute Care / Level III Trauma Center with 104 staffed beds.
The unit involves managing a variety of patient conditions
including abdominal pain, acute psychosis, drug overdose, and
trauma cases. Skills in airway management, central line care, and
continuous IV sedation are necessary. Experience managing patients
with multi-system organ dysfunction/failure is preferred. Triage
skills are essential. Candidates should be prepared to float within
the facility as needed. References are required covering recent
experience in comparable specialties. Modules will need to be
completed annually and are self-reported. All job responsibilities
must be carried out adhering to facility protocols and patient care
