tenens coverage for their surgery department. This hospital-based
position offers comprehensive orthopedic services with dedicated
physician assistant support for emergency room coverage. About the
Facility Location Tacoma features Point Defiance Park as a central
attraction, offering opportunities for walking and viewing Mount
Rainier. The region includes cultural destinations such as the
Museum of Glass and specialty museums, along with recreational
facilities like the Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium. The waterfront
areas provide scenic walking opportunities with mountain views,
while the area also serves as a gateway for day tours to Mount
Rainier National Park. About the Clinician's Workday The orthopedic
surgeon will provide comprehensive coverage for emergency room
cases requiring orthopedic consultation and intervention on a
24-hour call basis. The position involves managing both inpatient
orthopedic cases and trauma situations that present through the
emergency department. Additionally, the clinician will conduct
outpatient clinic sessions three mornings per week to provide
follow-up care and routine orthopedic consultations. Board
certification is required for this locum tenens assignment.
