(inquire for details) Start Date: ASAP About the Position An
experienced OB/GYN Nurse Practitioner is needed for locum coverage
to support clinic and hospital-based women’s health services. This
role includes providing comprehensive women’s health care,
supporting rotating OB/GYN call coverage, and managing both clinic
visits and hospital responsibilities. Candidates must have prior
hospital-based midwifery or OB/GYN NP experience. Job
Responsibilities Provide prenatal care, including routine OB checks
and management of normal pregnancies Perform natural and emergency
deliveries in collaboration with on-call physicians Provide
postpartum care and patient education Conduct routine reproductive
health services, including pelvic exams and Pap tests Counsel
patients on birth control and contraceptive management Perform IUD
and Nexplanon insertion and removal Assist OB/GYN physicians with
C-sections Deliver full-scope women’s health services (excluding
endoscopic procedures) Working Hours Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00
PM Weeknight call required 24-hour weekend call: 1 week per month
Approximately 10 shifts per month Start date: As soon as
credentialed Skills Women’s health and prenatal care Labor and
delivery support Emergency obstetric management Contraceptive
counseling and procedures EMR proficiency (multiple systems) Strong
collaboration with physicians and nursing staff Requirements Board
Certified Nurse Practitioner Active Oregon state license Required
certifications: BLS, ACLS, DEA, NPR NPDB Self-Query report (dated
within 30 days of submission) Hospital-based midwife or OB/GYN NP
experience required No new graduates; home-birth-only experience
