Job Description Job Description Smile Surfers is seeking a
part-time dental assistant for our office in Richland, WA. Are you
looking for an amazing dental family to join? Smile Surfers is a
private practice that offers a great work environment where we work
together to serve our patients' needs. We are a busy pediatric
practice looking for an individual who is great at multi-tasking,
is detailed oriented, friendly, and reliable. If this grooves with
you, we'd like to meet! Duties/Responsibilities Welcome and greet
patients Update and maintain patient records Take X-rays and
intraoral photos of patients Preforms prophylaxis Present treatment
to patients/parents Assist clinicians during dental procedures
Sterilize instruments, clean rooms and ensure all infection control
policies are being followed Prepare operatories for patient visits
Required Skills/Abilities Ability to move fast and work as a team
Excellent customer service skills Enjoys working with children
Ability to engage with families Knowledge of dental terminology
Education and Experience High School diploma or equivalent WA State
Dental Assistant Registration CPR trained Basic knowledge of
practice management software 2 years in dental assisting is
preferred but not required Bilingual (Spanish/English Preferred)
Physical Demands Is occasionally required to stand; walk; reach
with hands and arms Is frequently required to sit; use hands to
finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear. Has the ability to
adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus. Sometimes moves
boxes and files weighing up to 25 pounds across the office for
various needs Works in moderate noise Salary Range $18 - $25/hr
