Surgical Tech Location: Walla Walla, WA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,291 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/23/2026 About the Position Job Title: Certified OR Tech / Surgical Tech (CST) Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: Certified OR Tech / Surgical Tech (CST) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum Years of Experience: Previous OR scrub experience required. Must have: Travel experience required; No first-time travelers. License: Valid Allied license required. Certifications: BLS required. CST preferred. Description: Scrub experience as OR Tech is required. Position will not float between units. On-call is required: 1 weekday per week and 1 weekend every 4-6 weeks. Weekends are required for call only. Block schedules are not required. Expected patient care ratios are 1:1. Previous experience in a variety of surgical services, including general, ortho, neuro, GYN, OB, ENT, plastics, vascular, and eyes, is essential. Callback time is 20 minutes, and must stay within callback time when on call. Must be prepared to float within the facility. Previous charges experience and preferred community hospital experience are valued. Various procedures will be included, ranging from ambulating surgeries to trauma cases. Knowledge of sterilization and disinfection protocols is necessary. Interdisciplinary support includes various health services and teams. Patient care will include all age groups, from adolescents to geriatrics. Daily census is around 30, with a total of 5 operating rooms available. Additional unit details include a focus on general surgery, GYN, OB/C-sections, orthopedics, neuro-spine, plastics, urology, ENT, and robotic surgeries. All travelers should exhibit flexibility in scheduling and must adhere to compliance requirements throughout the duration of employment. References from supervisory professionals are required to reflect recent relevant experience. Modules are to be completed pre-start and annually as part of compliance training.
