Reputable Teaching FQHC with Strong Ties to our Community Founded by our Central WA Family Medicine Residency program (CWFM) in 1993, CHCW has grown into an integrated community health center to include full spectrum primary care, pediatric, senior residential care, behavioral and addiction care, and dental serving the Yakima and Kittitas Counties at multiple sites. Our Clinics and Programs Central Washington Family Medicine Residency / Central Washington Family Medicine Clinic / Yakima Pediatrics / Naches Medical Clinic / Highland Clinic / Community Health of Central Washington – Ellensburg / Ellensburg Dental Care / Senior and Residential Care / Senior Smiles / Connect (Substance Use Disorder Treatment) / Primary Care Behavioral Health / Population Health Our Senior and Residential Care program (SR Care) needs a Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician with a passion to care for the elderly/senior population, or Geriatrician to provide primary care services to SR Care clients at participating LTC facilities and serve as the individual SNF's Medical Director. SNFs Leadership: Shine as the Medical Director to our contracted SNFs. Advocacy: For patients and providers. Administration round tables with providers for input with strategic planning Teaching-Friendly Culture: Share your passion with residents and medical students Expected Volume: Seeing 14 patients assigned per day, typically at 1 facility per day. Modern Tech: GERIMED Collaborative Support: From the SR Care Program Director, residents, physicians, ARNPs, medical assistant and program assistant Compensation and Perks Base Salary: $237,500k-$247,500k. Additional financial add-ons include a quality/engagement incentive, $10k fellowship bonus (if applicable), $4k per SNF oversight (7 contracted SNF facilities shared), and production bonuses. Relocation and sign-on bonus . Visa sponsorship. Qualifications MD/DO degree or IMG equivalent. Completion of an accredited US FM or IM Residency. Preference of geriatric medicine certification, or FM/IM with added qualifications in geriatrics, and/or AMDA cert or training. WA License or the ability to obtain a WA license. DEA certificate. BE/BC required. Great peer references and in good standing. Approved for credentialing with Medicare, Medicaid, and health plans.
