Doctor of Medicine | Surgery - General/Other Location: Pendleton, OR Employer: Lancesoft Inc Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Start Date: ASAP About the Position Seeking 3 Locum General Surgeons to provide ongoing coverage beginning July 2026. This is a high-responsibility role covering clinic, OR, emergency cases, trauma response, and 24-hour call coverage. Providers must function as full-time staff during assignment. Clean malpractice history strongly preferred. Not accepting candidates with malpractice history (dismissed or active). Job Responsibilities: Provide clinic coverage Monday–Friday (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM) Perform scheduled surgeries in OR Provide 24-hour hospital call coverage while on assignment Respond to ED traumas Provide post-operative care and inpatient consultations Perform emergency surgeries as required Manage approximately 14–16 clinic patients per day Average 10 surgeries per week (75% outpatient) Participate in 7–10 day block scheduling Cover approximately 20 days per month Requirements Board Certified – REQUIRED Oregon State License – REQUIRED (OR license already in process accepted for May/June start) Residency/Fellowship – REQUIRED ACLS, BLS, DEA – REQUIRED NPDB Self-Query (within 30 days) – REQUIRED at presentation Clean Malpractice – Highly Preferred Must be willing to work clinic hospital call Must respond to trauma activations Benefits ??
