Job Duties/Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when neededRequirements
  • Current and valid state required Phlebotomy Licensure is required1 to 2 years of previous experience as a phlebotomistProven track record in providing exceptional customer serviceStrong communication skills; both written and verbalAbility to work independently or in a team environmentComfortable working under minimal supervisionReliable transportation -Flexibility to work overtime as neededAble to pass a standardized color blindness test
  • -Shift 1ScheduleMonday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm plus rotating Saturdays 8:00 am to 2:00 pm. Additional hours may be required
