We are looking for an Inspector to join our Pasco, Washington team. As a member of quality control, team members will ensure that all finished devices and components meet all internal and external requirements. Team member will also help drive improvements within the quality management system which support the organizations business goals. The Inspector performs procedures include the evaluation of raw materials, in-process components, finished products, and equipment quality control to ensure a quality product.

Essential Functions and Duties:

  • Perform inspections, checks, and tests on wheelchair frames, wheelchair components, and finished wheelchairs, based on defined criteria, using standard physical, mechanical, and/ or electrical measurements.
  • Accept or reject finished products and/or components based on predetermined inspection criteria.
  • Conduct and document process and system audits using written procedures as audit standards.
  • Accurately document inspection and testing results.
  • Maintain controlled document files and test records in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Monitor critical equipment and instrumentation to ensure proper operation and calibration.
  • Participate in construction and/or revision of inspection procedures.
  • Assist in writing and updating inspection procedures, protocols, and checklists.
  • Evaluate problems and make initial recommendations for possible corrective action.
  • Review device history records and other documentation for compliance with established procedures.
  • Perform detailed and accurate work.
  • Perform accurate counting and mathematical calculations.
  • Follow direction, procedures, and instructions for all work assignments.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area and awareness of surroundings.
  • Support all quality, safety, and environmental programs.

Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Duties and responsibilities may change from time to time.


  • Proficiency in the English language (written and oral).
  • Strong communication, reading, counting, and math skills.
  • Working knowledge of measuring instruments.
  • Ability to pay close attention to detail and perform accurate work.
  • Ability to read mechanical drawings

Level of Education or Experience in Lieu of:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 2+ years of Quality Control experience preferred.
  • Mechanical aptitude preferred.

Work Environment:

  • Manufacturing plant; exposure to elements such as noise, dust, cold, heat, and/or odor.
  • Overtime as assigned.

Physical Demands:

  • Lift and move up to 50 pounds repeatedly, on and off inspection tables, throughout 8+ hour shift.
  • Stand, move around the plant, and sit for extended periods of time.
  • Manual dexterity; ability to see fine details of objects.
  • Work at a computer and data entry for extended periods; frequent finger and wrist manipulation.
