-Job DescriptionJob Description SummaryThe Product Recovery/Case
Feeder Lines 1 & 2 position is responsible for the start up,
monitoring and shutdown of the C.O.P.s. Responsibility also
includes inspecting the KDs and making sure the correct label is
brought to the line; in addition, team member will need to
correctly load KDs on rollers and keep C.O.P.s loaded with KDs.
This position also recovers the damage coming from the glue deck.
Team member must be able to safely un-jam equipment in work area.
During downtime periods this position will be responsible to follow
all established cleaning procedures on said equipment. Discard
dunnage properly. Assist in the freezer as well as maintain shadow
boards, area owner boards, and break product recovery or case
feeder depending on position at time.Job DescriptionDuties and
responsibilities include the following: Keep work area neat and
clean. Keep the yellow barrels emptied which are waste product.
Keep white barrels emptied. Good product which needs to be blended
back to the line. Have the proper P.P.E. This includes a pair of
cutting gloves to keep his/her hands from getting cut. Warm
clothing when needed to help in the freezer. Know the LOTO
procedure on the equipment. Help check the information on the board
to ensure the correct cases are being loaded on the C.O.P/ICE. and
for any cut changes they may have on shift. Help keep rollers full
of K.D.s. They should be stacked no more than 50 cases high. Help
fill the C.O.P/ICE being sure to load them in the right direction.
Be sure they are not loaded too tight or too loose. Mark the cases
with the permanent marker provided. If the markers need to be
replaced, contact the Team Leader or go to Timekeeper to get one.
Stack torn or defective KD's on the pallet provided. When a pallet
gets full of bad KD's they need to be wrapped with plastic wrap.
Have driver take them out. Put all cardboard dunnage (not KD's) go
directly into the compactor. When full, make a bail by tying off
with wire and have driver take it out. Help un-plug jams on the

materials/product has been removed from all areas of the line
during product changeovers. Assist with toting situations as
needed. Help build empty totes, break down totes, close and blue
cap totes when instructed by team leader When garbage in the work
area gets full, must be pulled out so the driver can remove it.
Help palletize or rework damaged/light weight cases. Write your
name on the Area Owner Boards. Maintain that shadow boards, have
all the proper tools hung on board when not in use. Relieve other
Packaging Heavy Laborers for break periods. Follow Lock Out Tag Out
procedures in assigned area Participate in Behavior Based
Observations and Hazard ID's as instructed by Team Leader. Actively
practice and abide by all company work, safety and personal hygiene
rules and regulations as outlined in the employee handbook.
Maintain good housekeeping in his/her assigned area including
following/auditing 5S practices. Utilize and inspect Personal
Protective Equipment (PPE) per company policy and notify Sanitation
Team Leader, Team Leader or Lead if replacement is required. Per
specific customer request, will be required to wear additional PPE.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Team Leader.Job

Equipment for cleaning including squeegees, brooms, and shovels.
Know the controls which operate the gates for toting. Know how the
