McCurley SubaruAutomotive Service AdvisorAs an automotive service advisor, you will be part of our sales team and your passion for providing exceptional customer service contributes to our world-class customer experience and high level of customer satisfaction. Acting as the liaison between our factory certified technicians and our clients, you will communicate in an open, honest, and helpful manner focusing on finding the right solution for each client.You will engage our clients to address all their vehicle needs through a well-established process, using the latest in dealer management software. The facility you will spend your time in is neat, clean, and professional. Your team is comprised of many skilled individuals that all have a vested interest in the team's success as well as your individual success.McCurley Subaru is locally owned and operated by an owner that truly cares about the employees and this community. The goal is to develop long lasting relationships and ensure the safety and reliability of our client's automobiles.The right candidate must have exceptional verbal communication skills and proficient computer skills. A valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record is required. A working knowledge of automobile repair and maintenance is preferred but not required. We are looking for a team player who is customer focused and values organization and efficiency.
Duties and Essential Job Tasks:

  • Consult with each client effectively to identify all customer needs and concerns
  • Work directly with our service technicians to address the customers concerns and identify additional maintenance or repair needs
  • Communicate technician findings to the client and advise them on associated costs and solutions
  • Confirm that customer concerns are resolved through communication with service technicians and quality checks of the automobile
  • Input and maintain accurate vehicle and customer information in the dealer management system
  • Perform multiple tasks concurrently while being effective and staying organized
  • Use telephone, email, text messaging and other means to effectively communicate with customers and co-workers
  • Schedule and monitor appointments to enhance shop flow
  • Maintain a professional personal appearance and workspace
