This is to be accomplished in a manner consistent with safety, quality and production goals.Key Responsibilities

• Operates and oversees the operation of a processing line on a specific shift
• Observes and reports any mechanical issues to the Supervisor or maintenance department
• Ensures proper flow of product on each line that that production goals are being met
• Reports to the Supervisor on line performance to the budgeted goals for each hour to ensure targets are being met and issues that mean production goals are not being achieved are corrected
• Performs other duties as assignedTypical EducationHigh School Diploma/GEDRelevant Experience
  • Preferred two years plus related experience in a processing facility
  • Must be able to work in a refrigerated area
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to balance multiple tasks, be flexible and work well under pressure
  • Ability to work weekends, shift work and overtimeOther Information
    Must demonstrate the ability to perform basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, range, average, percentages, measurements).
