Job Description:

The Health Unit Coordinator/ Nursing Assistant Certified: works primarily as the primary clerical support person to nursing, retrieve test results and reports, directing visitors, maintaining records/ files, answering and directing phone calls and performing other clerical duties as required. As needed, this position also works in the capacity of Nursing Assistant, performing direct and indirect patient care, treatment and maintenance of the nursing unit. A critical attribute required of this position is exceptional interpersonal customer services consisting of an outgoing positive attitude, warm friendly joyful demeanor, and the utmost care and reverence for our guests, patients, families, customers and colleagues. Salary Range: $15.74 - $19.87 This is a union position. EDUCATION & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Post high school training preferred
• Knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the population served
• Certified as a NAC in Washington State required
• Current American Heart Association BLS required
• Relevant office and/or medical experience preferred. Medical Terminology preferred. Proficient use of computer and other office equipment preferred
• Recent education or experience as a NAC preferred
• Bilingual and/or English-Spanish speaking preferred. Ability to read, write and speak English fluently.
