• Maintain conscientiousness for safety at all times; while driving as well as performing all other duties
• Full compliance with all FMCSA/DOT regulations and other Company policies and procedures as applicable
• Haul, load, and handle products as assigned while maintaining efficiencies, such as fuel and best hauling and loading practices
• Inspects truck for defects before and after trips and submits report indicating truck condition
• Obtains schedule of load times and locations for the day and drives truck to destination applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and skills
• Must be able to back up and maneuver in and around tight areas
• Maintains driver log according to DOT--regulations
• Regularly inspects truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, fuel, oil, and water
• Makes truck and/or trailer available for scheduled maintenance
• Must be able to work nights and weekends.Typical EducationHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED)Relevant ExperienceOne year over the road driving experience.----Driving school may substitute for 6 months of driving experience.Required Certifications
  • Must have a valid Class A CDL with proper endorsements and a valid DOT physical cardOther Information
    • Must be at least 21 years of age due to travel requirements
    • 1 year of over-the-road experience
    • Must have a commercial drivers license (Class A), with proper endorsements and good driving record
    • Must have a current DOT physical
    • Must meet DOT--qualifications
