We are a true farm-to-table company with operations that touch every aspect of agriculture, including seed production, farming and ranching, plant sciences, fertilizer manufacturing, food processing, commercial product development, and distribution.SummaryThe Electrical Technician works independently troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining electrical equipment and ensures all equipment is in safe working condition within the packaging and processing areas of a vegetable processing facility.Key Responsibilities Maintains all electrical systems from low voltages to 4160 volt Repairs or replaces all electrical devices including but not limited to: breaker panels, motor starters, heaters, fuses, lights, AC drives, motors, electrical switches, etc., all in accordance with state and federal codes including company policies and procedures Maintains and troubleshoots VFDs, soft starts, lighting and control circuits Must be able to install plant equipment, run conduits, pull wire, install switches, breaker panels, etc. as needed to supply power to plant electrical apparatus Works with electrical meters such as amp clamps, volt meters, analog meters, meggers, etc. Must be able to assist all other maintenance personnel in the event of a major plant break down Assists the Instrumentation/PLC Technician Performs other duties as assignedTypical EducationHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Relevant Experience2+ years related experience and/or training
